Emmy's Visit

The boys got a chance to have another Emily visit this summer! This time they got to have their very own moon bounce in the back yard, fun rides on the inflatable bed, a trip to the park where they all wanted to sit on their own benches instead of play and of course there was the infamous lollipop incident! Can't wait for another visit!!

Rainy Days

One rainy day we were trying to think of something fun to do with the boys- we had some fun tunnel things that Mary Burden had given us ages ago but we had been waiting for them to get a bit older (and to have more space! The boys LOVE this thing!! I'm talking hours and hours of hide and go seek and a great way to pass a rainy day by that doesn't involve puddles :-)

September 2008 Zoo Trip

The Monihan's and most of North Carolina took a trip to the Zoo over Labor Day Weekend. It was hard to see most of the animals and the boys refused to walk much! The most fun was watching Coop try to scare the monkey statue! "Boooooo!!!"

No Nap!

Cooper has been phasing out of his lovely nap time in the afternoons. Why kids want to give this up is beyond my comprehension! Although he's doing quite well now without his afternoon naps there are a few rare occasions when he sneaks one in.

Me: "What do you do when you are frustrated?"

Me: "Okay baby give me just a minute to finish eating my lunch." I am rushing around eating my lunch over the sink!

Me: "In a minute Coop."

Me: "In a minute Coop."
Repeat about 5 more times then.....
Cooper: "Mommmaaaaa greeeeeen drink!!!" Now pulling on my pants leg.
Me: "Cooper honey you see me trying to eat, please stop!"
Cooper: "Hmmm okay Momma- chill out. Chiiiillllll out Momma."
